Disturbing video catches brutal end to high-speed police chase

""You'll be forgiven for thinking this violent scene looks like something out of a "Terminator" movie. Mateo Falconi was going 67 mph in a 45-mph zone when he was spotted by Collier County, Fla., deputy Robert Lewis III. Instead of pulling over, Falconi took off and reached speeds of 110 miles per hour, according to Lewis. When Falconi, an engineering student, finally stopped his motorcycle and put his hands in the air, Lewis pushed him to the ground, appeared to punch him and reportedly shot him with a stun gun as he was surrounded by other officers. He should have stopped. What the cops did, may not have been right, but I have no sympathy for him.

I am a little shocked at the way the first officer reacted, but the other officers jumped on the rider and  I saw them beating on the rider also.  It is a shame that if there is a real threat the same officers react like they dont know what to do, but when they can all gang a single rider who clearly had his hands up and should have been arrested and cuffed without all the pounding and stunning.. sorry police force.. poppa smurf

I agree with Steven about respect. After all it is the Biker's Code. No doubt this fellow broke the law I guess, but once he did surrender, none of that force was required. Officers need to be able to excrsize self control, which is clearly not the case here. I hope charges were brought against these officers.

I respect officers who deserve respect but I just saw several who I have no respect for!
